Prestige. Success. Branding. These are some of the reasons real estate agents are known for their cars. Whether it be a luxury car, sports car, classic car, or an SUV, top producing agents in the OKC love their cars, and the one thing they all have in common? They are FUN to drive!

Tell us about your background.
I am 30 years old. I was born in Oklahoma City and graduated from Deer Creek High School. I attended Francis Tuttle for certification in automotive repair. I have been a mechanic, fabricator, welder, automotive painter, and now REALTOR®.

Who or what led you to a career in real estate?
After multiple bosses, I realized I wouldn't be happy working for someone for the rest of my life. I needed a life change at the time, and I knew real estate would allow me to be my own boss and provide freedom. I didn't know anybody in the industry or how it worked. I just Googled real estate school and signed up. Now, I won't do anything else!

What sparked your interest in cars? If applicable, tell us the story behind the vehicle you are featuring.
My interest in cars started when I was young. My grandpa taught me how to tear down and build an engine when I was 14. My mom loved classic cars and my dad loved NASCAR. It was an automotive household, for sure. The story behind the car - I bought this car brand new off the lot in 2015. It was the first car I had ever bought by myself. At that time, I wanted to learn how to paint, but the painter I worked for refused to let me paint. So, as practice, I painted my brand new $23,000 car from black to blue. To be honest, it looked horrible. So, I decided to try again, but with a sparkly blue. A few months later it gets keyed. I start to fix the side that is scratched, and then I crash into the center wall of the Kilpatrick Turnpike. So, I park it in the garage and buy a cheap car to drive around for a little bit. In 2017, my mom passed after a 6-year battle with cancer. At that time, I needed something to do to let my mind relax. So I pull the car back out and fix everything and paint it one more time. This time with my mom on my mind. I painted it pink to represent breast cancer. I bought a carbon fiber hood and painted it, leaving a ribbon, so those going through it know they have support. I have a set of $4,000 wheels that I've never put on the car. The cheap ones on it now belonged to my best friend that passed in 2018. He was another huge car guy. There's a lot of history with this car!

How does your love for cars and your career in real estate intertwine, if at all?
