There’s nothing like the Porsche lifestyle. The Porsche culture of luxury and lifestyle has kept Porsche Oklahoma City General Manager Ryan DeToro with the Porsche brand for over 20 years, and it’s the Porsche lifestyle that has their customers hooked on Porsche from the moment their foot hits the pedal.
Porsche’s marketing is centered around its brand purpose, “Driven by Dreams.” In its new campaign, Porsche focuses on life dreams — and according to Ryan, there is no better sign of dreams accomplished than pulling up in a Porsche. Because to drive a Porsche is a dream come true.
“Porsche wants to be the most aspirational company in the world … what people aspire to have or become,” Ryan explains. “We’re about everything luxury: meeting up at restaurants or events, performance racing, watches, boating, beautiful vacation destinations. The Porsche brand is a lifestyle more than it is a car.
And yet, the cars Porsche is putting out are nothing short of spectacular. From elite sports cars to ultra-functional high-end SUVs, Porsche Oklahoma City delivers. They’re also deeply involved in the community, supporting local events and nonprofit work. Porsche Oklahoma City gives back to the Oklahoma Children's Hospital and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, among other local charities.
Real Estate Connections
Ryan and the Porsche Oklahoma City dealership have long assisted real estate agents. From selling and servicing cars to helping out at events, Ryan and his team are available to assist agents in the luxury market.
“Looking at the luxury lifestyle, if they want to show they're the best producer out there in real estate, why not drive the best car? Real estate agents can show their clients they really know what they're doing and that they’re at the top of their game. We have the car with the necessities and space needed every day, and when an agent pulls up in a Porsche, the client knows they've got a good closer that’s going to get them to where they need to be,” Ryan explains. “And they'll get there faster in a Porsche if they need to be quick,” he adds with a laugh.
Porsche Oklahoma City is growing, too. They have recently built a new facility, opening in 2023. This state-of-the-art facility is a destination Porsche facility. In other words, it’ll be less of a dealership where people go to buy cars and more of a destination where people go to have fun by experiencing cars.
Even after 20 years, it’s clear Ryan has a passion for the Porsche brand. As he says, “There’s nothing better. There is no substitute.”
