Spreading Good

Each of us have a choice each day to go through the motions or to put our talents to use making life better for our clients and communities.

Jennifer Kragh puts her best foot forward for those around her.

As a Broker Associate with Sage Sotheby’s International Realty, Jennifer has a reputation for making good things happen through time.

“It’s important to me to be a good caretaker, and I like to achieve … making people happy and getting things done,” Jennifer says. “Home is such a personal thing. I thought I was doing good for the world in my prior career and I feel like I’m doing the same thing now.”

Strong Roots

Jennifer is a native Oklahoman, coming from a small town in the southwest corner of the state. Real estate seemed to always be part of her.

“I’ve always had a love of history and old things,” Jennifer says. “I’ve long had an interest in architecture and old houses. My grandmother had a 1920 rock house with hardwood floors and so many other original details. I’ve loved neat, old houses my whole life.”

New Pathway

Initially, as Jennifer came of age, she planned on pursuing a career in business or the law. The twists and turns of life took her in a different direction though.

One of her friend’s parents had a stroke. That led Jennifer to develop an interest in being a speech language pathologist, a path she found success in for 20 years. During the course of her work, she made a life-enhancing difference for people of all ages … from infants to 110.

In the meantime, Jennifer and her husband bought a house that was built in 1931. They attended open houses, as well. Eventually, the time just felt right for Jennifer to take a different path.

“In 2016, I thought I had had a good run in my career and thought I wanted to give real estate a try. At first, I was going to do commercial real estate, but it seemed like I was much more suited for the residential side,” Jennifer says.

“When I started, I positioned myself working with vintage and classic homes. I wanted to be around the things that I liked. Since then, I discovered that I have a talent for listings in general so have become a listing specialist of all types of properties.”

Storytelling Passion

Those who have worked with Jennifer appreciate her talents as a strong listing agent. Her background in communications also is instrumental in helping her to tell the rich story of each property and client she represents.

Jennifer makes what she does look easy … leading by example each day. Her results speak volumes. In fact, in 2022, she recorded 46 transactions, representing nearly $26 million in sales volume. That’s part of an ongoing record of success that includes more than 250 sales in her six years in the business.

Jennifer is proud to lead the Jennifer Kragh Group — which also includes Megan Tabor and Madison Golden. In addition to her team, Jennifer also has a passion for building agent-to-agent bonds in the business.

“We’re all in a deal together. I really try to communicate and respect other agents,” Jennifer says. “That is a good way to do business and helps deals get to the finish line.”

Family Foundation

Family enriches Jennifer’s life day by day. She cherishes time with her family, including her husband, Jeffrey, who is a psychologist, and their daughter, Payton.

“We are very proud of her,” Jennifer says with a smile. “She is attending graduate school and living in Paris.”

In their free time, Jennifer and Jeffrey like spending time with their dogs — Oscar and Winslow.

They also continue their love of real estate in their free time. In fact, they were thrilled to buy their current home in Jennifer’s dream neighborhood — Heritage Hills. Jennifer and Jeffrey love diving in and taking on the renovation of their 1904 Greek Revival home. They also attend estate sales and look for treasures during antique shopping trips.

Jennifer is also engaged in making a difference in the community. She is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Parkinson Foundation of Oklahoma, now titled the Oklahoma Parkinson’s Alliance. She is also a former president of the Board of Advocates for the College of Allied Health at OUHSC.

“While Oklahoma City is one of the largest cities in terms of space covered, and in the top 20 in the U.S.,” Jennifer says.  “The little community where I live and sell a lot of homes feels like a small town and I identify with that since I graduated with 64 people in my high school class.

“I like knowing the store owners and seeing familiar faces when I go into a restaurant. You get the benefits of a large city with a small-town feel. I really enjoy OKC, and I’m very proud of the growth we’ve had. It’s also fun for me to sell in other areas, including Tulsa and rural areas of the state.”

With care, dedication and a genuine love for what she does, Jennifer Kragh is making life better for others … by making good things happen.
