Prestige. Success. Branding. These are some of the reasons real estate agents are known for their cars. Whether it be a luxury car, sports car, classic car, or an SUV, top producing agents in the OKC love their cars, and the one thing they all have in common? They are FUN to drive!

1987 Chevrolet Silverado

Tell us about you and your background.
REALTOR®, wife, and mom to four amazing children. From Western Oklahoma. Graduated with a journalism/advertising degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. Enjoy fitness, gardening, watching my kids' sports, traveling, and spending time at the lake!

Who or what led you to a career in real estate?
I have always loved architecture and design. I never dreamed of making a career out of my love for homes but after marrying a home builder, getting my real estate license just seemed to make sense. I love it more every day! There is a thrill in helping families find the perfect place to call home!

What sparked your interest in cars? If applicable, tell us the story behind the vehicle you are featuring.
My love of cars stems from a life around racing. From Enduro cars to motocross, racing has always been a big part of our family time. All while growing up, my dad always had a project going on that included a motor. You know they say that you marry somebody like your dad,  this is true. My husband enjoys working on motors as well! Those two men can fix anything!

How does your love for cars and your career in real estate intertwine, if at all?
I have always had an appreciation for old things. The character found in both a quality, classic vehicles or a stunning historical home deserves recognition. Our ideal date night is driving around looking for inspiration from beautiful homes! Even better, if we are driving in our ‘87 Chevy, we call it “Old Blacky!”

Is there anything else you want us to know about you and/or your love of cars?
Our truck has a special story. We actually went on our first date in 2001 in this truck. We left our wedding in 2002 in the truck.  In 2007, we sold the truck because, at the time, we did not have space to store it. We regretted selling the truck and attempted to buy it back for many years. The truck was not taken care of and sat outside for many years. In 2018, my husband got a call and the man that owned the truck was wanting to build a house. He said the only way he would sell the truck back is if Stephen built his home. In 2019, we received the truck and had it completely restored while keeping it as original as possible. One of our favorite things to do in the evenings is to pile in with our four children and cruise on a pretty evening!
