Jenna Harper’s perseverance and knack for building connections have solidified her as a standout figure in Oklahoma City’s real estate market. From her early days helping her father flip houses to leading a successful team at Sage Sotheby’s International Realty, Jenna has proven that passion and persistence can transform a career into a legacy.
Jenna’s upbringing laid the groundwork for her real estate career. Raised in Tulsa, where she spent most of her childhood and teenage years, she helped her father flip houses.
“I always joke that I’m my dad’s only son,” Jenna laughs. “He has three daughters, but I was the one working with him, rehabbing rental homes. Seeing the results of our hard work was incredibly gratifying and planted the seed for this career choice.”
When Jenna moved to Oklahoma City in 2013, she was searching for a new career. She had worked in sales but felt uninspired by what she was selling. Real estate became the answer. “I threw myself into it to see if it would stick—and it stuck,” she recalls.
Climbing the Ranks
Jenna began her real estate career in 2013 and joined Sage Sotheby’s International Realty in 2018, where her success and leadership would eventually propel her to the role of senior vice president in 2024. As one of the original agents at the young brokerage, Jenna has been instrumental in shaping its culture and growth. Today, Sage Sotheby’s has grown to include more than 50 agents, and Jenna’s leadership continues to be a guiding force.
“Sotheby’s was a natural fit for me,” Jenna explains. “Sotheby’s has a heritage… and it’s a great platform for the work we do.”
One of Jenna’s most memorable moments was being a part of the most expensive residential sale in Oklahoma’s history. “The client specifically called Sotheby’s because of the brand,” she says. “That’s the power of working with a globally respected company.”
Building a Team
By 2021, Jenna’s growing business demanded more than she could handle alone. That’s when she formed Jenna Harper Homes, a team now consisting of Brooke Wood and Brittany White. Brooke has been with Jenna since the start of the team in 2021 and has been an invaluable addition. Brooke helps with buyers and sellers, and she is generally Jenna’s co-agent on team listings. The addition of Brittany will open new doors and possibilities for the team.
“The team is excited to grow together and continue delivering exceptional service to our clients in the years ahead,” Jenna says.
Jenna’s team is unified by a shared commitment to excellence. “Something my whole team has in common is a passion for perfection," she says. "We care about every little thing. From the presentation to the follow-through, we are obsessive over every little detail.”
Balancing Career and Family
Behind Jenna’s professional success is a deeply personal story of resilience and determination. In 2016, she faced a pivotal moment in her life: recently divorced, she became a single mom to her two oldest children, Millie (now 15) and Hendrix (now 9).
In 2019, Jenna remarried, adding her husband Lance and their youngest child, Harrison (now 3), to the family. Life is now a blend of career and chaos, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Both of my team members are moms, and I think being a mom is a superpower,” she says. “We see how to overcome obstacles and balance family and business in a way that others might not. We have each other’s backs and prioritize what matters most—our kids.”
A Legacy of Compassion and Connection
Outside of work, Jenna loves to travel and spend time with her family. Sports are also a big part of their lives, keeping the family active and engaged.
For Jenna, real estate is about more than closing deals. It’s about building relationships and caring for her family. “I love helping others through real estate for a ton of reasons,” she says. “But the legacy factor is showing my kids how to care for others and the community through my work,” she says.
Jenna’s children have had a front-row seat to her dedication. “They see me showing homes, delivering things, meeting trades, having hard phone calls in the evenings, etc. They get to see work ethic and compassion for others on a day-to-day basis, first hand—which is something that a lot of kids don't get to experience.”
This focus on family and values extends to the way Jenna runs her business, too. “It’s not just about selling houses,” she explains. “It’s about connecting with people and helping them navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives.”
