That’s the same drive that Cassie Good has. As a REALTOR® with Chamberlain Realty in Oklahoma City, Cassie finds satisfaction by finding what fits the needs of those she serves.
Finding Her Path
Cassie’s career in real estate was not a straight path. Before diving into the property market, she ventured into the retail world in 2006, opening her own business. Initially, things were promising, but the economic downturn in 2007 and 2008 caused significant disruptions. Business slowed, and many of Cassie’s REALTOR® clients, who had once been regulars, became less frequent visitors.
In 2011, Cassie reopened her retail business at a mall, but after just two years, she was forced to shut it down.
At this crossroads, with uncertainty about her next move, Cassie found herself contemplating her future. Her close connection with her uncle, a builder, inspired her to explore real estate. Armed with this new direction, she pursued her real estate license, which she earned in April 2014.
Seeking Success
Starting at a boutique firm, Cassie faced the typical struggles of a newcomer in the real estate industry. She immersed herself in the job, hosting open houses seven days a week. Despite her hard work, success was elusive in the beginning.
"I was discouraged and thought it might not be for me," Cassie recalls. However, she kept moving forward, and by her third year, her efforts began to pay off. Slowly but surely, her production numbers climbed, marking the start of a successful career trajectory.
Her Drive
For Cassie, the essence of real estate lies in the people she serves.
"The buyers are what I love the most," she says.
Her passion for helping clients find their dream homes is palpable. The process of locating the perfect property and seeing the joy on her clients’ faces brings her the most satisfaction.
Cassie thrives on the challenge of real estate.
"I love working and being out with the clients. The hunt and chase to find the home is very exciting," she says.
Despite the hurdles of low inventory and high interest rates that have impacted the market since the pandemic, Cassie remains undeterred.
Family Foundation
Away from work, Cassie looks forward to time with her family, including her husband Ryan and their 8-year-old son Jackson.
During the pandemic, they invested in real estate, which has become a hobby and a financial strategy. Cassie also finds solace in reading, often devouring three to four books each month. Weekend getaways to the lake offer a refreshing escape from her demanding career.
Helping Others
Cassie’s journey has been shaped by her understanding of the real estate industry’s challenges. She emphasizes the importance of networking and hard work.
"This business is incredibly tough," she points out. "It takes a lot of hard work and grit. You have to put yourself out there, do open houses, and network."
She believes that connecting with other REALTORS® and learning from their experiences can provide valuable insights and support. Cassie’s advice is grounded in her own experience of navigating the ups and downs of the market, and she encourages newcomers to embrace the challenges with resilience and dedication.

One of the defining aspects of Cassie’s career is her commitment to her clients. As a solo agent, she relishes the opportunity to work closely with each client.
"I love that when they call me, I’m the one who will work with them," she explains.
