Beyond Limits

Each of us have different paths we can follow in life.

Some paths end up being dead ends, but when we can break free and be rewarded for our efforts on behalf of others, the feeling can be overwhelming.

Kaylee Wiles has experienced that rewarding sensation.

Breaking Ground

As a REALTOR® and production manager with OKLAHOME Real Estate, Kaylee goes beyond the limits for those around her.

“I like having the flexibility that real estate brings, and also knowing that you’re rewarded for the amount of work you’re putting in,” Kaylee says. “There’s no limit to your success when knowing that success comes from helping others succeed.”

Getting Her Start

Kaylee earned her real estate license in 2020. Prior to that, she got a minor in real estate at a local college. She had other important insights into the business from her family.

“My parents were in the business. I saw their success, and I knew I wanted to get into it as well at some point,” she remembers.

For a time, Kaylee liked doing event planning first, and then came back a couple years later to do real estate.

“When I decided to get into real estate, I started out as a transaction coordinator. Within a year, I took my exam and got licensed to become a buyer’s agent. Then my business started to flourish and I was able to become a full-time REALTOR®. Within six months, I was then promoted to lead our full REALTOR® team as production manager while still pursuing my own real estate business.”

Building for the Future

It wasn’t long before Kaylee and others started OKLAHOME Real Estate … a group that today has nine pros on board. She became production manager as part of the move.

“The vision behind what we’re doing is changing the structure from the norm so that people don’t need to view a team as a stepping stone,” she says.

One of the elements of real estate that continues to be very attractive to Kaylee is the variety and the ongoing stream of new situations that arise.

“I love knowing that I’m walking into a different battle every day. I thrive in chaos. I love the fact that you don’t deal with the same situations,” Kaylee says. “There are multiple hurdles and families to help along the way. That’s important to me.”

Family Highlights

Family is at the heart of life for Kaylee. She looks forward to spending time with her husband, Terry, and their 2-year-old daughter, Palmer.

In her free time, she and Terry enjoy playing golf. Terry works as a golf pro. The two met during her senior year of high school, when she worked at a golf course in Edmond.

When it comes to giving back to the industry that she loves, Kaylee enjoys her role on the Board of Directors for the Edmond Board of REALTORS®.

Moving Ahead

As Kaylee looks to the future, she continues to build. At the same time, she offers helpful tips to others who are hoping to make real estate their career.

“First, I think one of the most important things is finding the support in a brokerage is important … someone who will hold your hand in the beginning,” Kaylee says. “You need to stick with it at least through a year. You will be working on your sphere during that time. Stick with it and know that it is a long-term game and that your efforts will pay off.”

Kaylee works with a true heart for her clients. With that in mind, she has a mix of feelings on closing day.

“Those days can be a bit sad for me,” she says. “You’ve spent time with a family and gotten to know them. You want to stay in touch with them afterwards, too. Clients become part of my family. In the end, my hope is that they know I am their friend through time.”

Congratulations to Kaylee Wiles for going beyond the limits for herself … and for those she serves.
