Prestige. Success. Branding. These are some of the reasons real estate agents are known for their cars. Whether it be a luxury car, sports car, classic car, or an SUV, top producing agents in the OKC love their cars, and the one thing they all have in common? They are FUN to drive!

2005 Lotus Elise

Tell us about you and your background.

I am from NW Oklahoma City, and I currently live in Edmond.  I am half Persian and half Choctaw Indian (for the most part).  I have lived in OKC most of my life but have also lived in Washington, DC,  and Lexington Kentucky.  I went to high school at PC North, got my bachelor's degree @ UCO (University of Central Oklahoma) in operations management (2005), and got my MBA from Oklahoma City University in 2008.

Who or what led you to a career in real estate?
My best friend and I talked about getting in it forever, and, one of my neighbors was in the business for a while.  I had a few talks with him and my broker and decided to give it a shot.

What sparked your interest in cars? If applicable, tell us the story behind the vehicle you are featuring.
I started messing with cars at about 14.  I loved imports; mainly Japanese cars.  When I was younger; my friends and I would pull cars apart and put them back together (I lived in apartments so most of the time it was in a random parking lot).  We used to drag race @ Thunder Valley and go to all the shows.  I had a buddy open a performance shop in the late 90s/early 2000s.  I got out of fun cars for a while to put myself through school and start a family.  Around 2013, I started getting the itch again and I have always loved the Lotus.  I actually looked for a couple of years and finally found the perfect one.  A guy in Utah was selling this one and I got lucky enough to buy it.  It has been fun owning it and I joke that I'll be buried in it someday.

How does your love for cars and your career in real estate intertwine, if at all?
Cars are a nice conversation starter.  I don't drive the Lotus much, but I do have a Tesla.  When I'm doing an open house or showing new clients around, they always have a lot of questions about it.  Most are positive.
